Path A: Brno (sightseeing tour): J. G. Mendel Memorial Kapucine Charnel-house Petrov - Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul refreshment (candy-store) Špilberk Castle.

Then departure to Černá Hora (a brewery excursion) and dinner.

Path E: Moravian Karst Region: Punkevní Caves (boat turn). Macocha Chams. Depature to Černá Hora (a brewery excursion) and dinner.

Striking landscape with typical karst formations - canyons, chasms, lakes of varying size and underground rivers. Highly attractive to tourists for its exceptional charm, richly adorned caves with stalagmites and stalactites, important archaeological finds in some caves and romantic scenery. Mighty chasm Macocha 138.5 m deep, the result of the collapse of the roof of an extensive cave. The entrance to the chasm leads into the Punkevní caves.

Due to a low interest in other routs only excursions A and E will be organized.

Social events:

Mendel's Museum

We propose to participants a visit of Mendel's Museum (museum of the founder of genetics). A guided tour will be organized on Monday evening. Interested are asked to register at Registration desk at arrival.

Dinner

On Wednesday evening a dinner for interested will be organized in Vine cellar of Queen Elisabeth at Old City Brno in walking distance of conference venue. Registration with payment 20 EUR is possible at the registration.
